Processing of personal information

The occupational health and safety elections app asks for your personal information when the organiser of the elections

• signs up to use the app
• adds voters to the occupational health and safety elections
• adds candidates to the occupational health and safety elections

In connection with registration, you will be asked to provide your e-mail address. For voters, the first name, last name and e-mail address will be recorded. For candidates, the first name and last name will be recorded. Alternatively, the voter’s title/task and unit/department will be recorded.

The organiser of the election event shall manage the information, and all the aforementioned information, including the results of the elections, will be deleted automatically within two weeks of the end of the elections. The organiser of the election event shall ensure data security with regard to the voters and candidates.

The processing of personal information is based on a statutory obligation.

The personal information shall be stored in the EU area.

Terms of use of the app

The Centre for Occupational Safety’s Occupational health and safety elections app is a free tool that can be used for collecting electronic votes in the elections. The app is intended only for the occupational health and safety elections, where the employees’ representatives for the occupational health and safety co-operation will be elected: Occupational Health and Safety Delegates and Deputy Delegates, Occupational Health and Safety Ombudsmen and members of the Occupational Safety Committee.

The app may not be used for other elections, such as the election of shop stewards. Upon detection of misuse, the Centre for Occupational Safety may remove the person’s access rights to the app. In connection with registration, the user accepts the service contract, which authorises the use of the app for organising the occupational health and safety elections. The use of the app for commercial purposes is prohibited.
